The Dream Weaver Split is the new name for the Dream Catcher Split. It is a performance splitboard which combines freeride response and control with a more rider-friendly freestyle feel. Perfect for backcountry explorers looking for a playful board that’s easy to ride in any terrain or snow conditions, the Dream Weaver Split’s Directional shape and Directional Rocker profile provide confident stability riding through soft or rough snow. On icy skin tracks or firm descents, the Inner/Outer Traction Tech 1.0 edges offer enhanced edge grip. The Dream Weaver Split is built with premium materials, including a super fast and durable Sintered 8000 base, an Eco-plastic top sheet and a Classic Core specially profiled for added pop. For rock-solid board connection in ride mode, the Dream Catcher Split comes with screw mounted Karakoram tip + tail clips, Karakoram Ultra Clips 1.0 split clips and new for 22/23, the Boltless Bridge that eliminates hardware in the base.

Shape Overview

The Dream Weaver Split’s directional shape has been specially engineered to create a versatile ride across the whole mountain. The innovative Blunt Nose Profile allows the nose to rise quickly in deep snow, delivering superb performance away from the piste. To ensure the Dream Weaver Split provides unrivalled control on and off-piste, Jones fit it with their Traction Tech (on both the inside and outside edges) sidecut. This innovative edge technology adds multiple contact points to the sidecut, ensuring that the Dream Weaver feels locked in on even the iciest terrain, both in touring or riding modes.

Profile

Directional Rocker: This freeride inspired shape combines an extended rocker zone at the nose with camber between the feet and a shorter rocker at the tail. This profile allows the board to float effortlessly in deep snow while still delivering a responsive and dynamic ride on hardpack terrain.

That shorter rocker at the tail helps create a more responsive and stable feel at the back of the board while still retaining a more playful catch free ride.

Construction

Heading up the Dream Weaver Split’s high-quality construction is the durable yet lightweight Classic Core. This premium poplar wood core delivers the perfect balance of performance, pop, flex and strength and is the ideal foundation for the Dream Weaver Splits versatile ride. As Jones wanted to keep this board a little bit more playful, it utilises softer flexing Bi-Ax glass structural layers. These allow the board to flex both lengthwise and torsionally and are key to delivering that unique, playful, freeride feel. Jones then adds Basalt stringers, made with 100% natural fibres that help transfer power to the edges, improving torsional response and absorbing board chatter.

Base

The new Sintered 8000 base is a super durable material made from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and carbon. Easily repairable, highly wax absorbent and wicked fast.
