Shape Overview

The tapered directional Wampeater might look unusual, but everything is there for a reason, and that reason is to create the perfect all mountain snowboard. Taking its inspiration from pin-tail surfboard technology, this unique nose and tail shape working in harmony with the broader platform between the feet delivers a level of lift and float that is quite remarkable. The fact it does it without being huge and flappy goes to show that sometimes weird just works. That extra width combined with the tapered shape also means that you can get this board hard on edge and crank those carves without ever having to worry about toe and heel drag.

Profile

The Wampeaters unique hybrid shape combines a flat section between the feet with rocker just before the contact points in the nose and tail. The early rise of the rocker keeps you smooth and catch-free on the rails while adding lift and float in the pow. The flat area adds pop and edge grip when you need to turn. This hybrid bend shape works over the whole mountain and helps deliver a smooth surf like riding experience.

Construction

Originating out of one of the most advanced snowboard production facilities in the world, the Wampeater really doesn’t hold back when it comes to construction. Heading up its innovative build is the state of the art wood core. This featherweight core combines ultralight balsa and paulownia to create what is quite possibly the lightest wood core on the market.To this Signal then add structural layers formed from torsionally responsive tri-ax glass on both the upper and lower bands. This gives the board a powerful torsional flex ensuring that no matter where or how you ride, the Wampeater is always going to have your back.

Base

The high quality sintered Base is both tough and s fast. Keep this base waxed, and it’ll deliver all the speed you could ever want.
