Fit Profile:

A well balanced overall fit that’s works with most foot shapes. Mid-Width in both the forefoot and the heel ensures that you get a supportive fit with good heel hold. The Ultracush Liner gives a snug fit but doesn’t feel over tight.

Traditional Lace Closure

Although it’s old and slow compared to most modern closure systems, traditional lace closure is still the system to beat. Giving you complete control of the boot tension it’s still the preferred closure system for freestyle snowboarders. Lace it loose for the park, Lace it tight for the mountain

Vans Hybrid + Boa

The Hybrid Plus system expands the range of flex control from the original Hybrid Boa configuration by adding an extra Boa pass around the back of the boot and across the instep to optimise the lines of pull and maximise flex control

capabilities.

Custom Slide Guide

This technology enables adjustable flex control and powerful heel hold throughout the instep area using the Slide Guide. Simply slide it to where you need the extra tension and then just dial it in.

V3 UltraCush™ Liner with TNF Flash Dry

The heat mouldable Ultracush V3 liner combines dual-density foam, neoprene toe box and UltraCush interior cushioning layer to deliver a fully custom mouldable high-quality fit. The updated X-Cage improves heel hold without sacrificing comfort. To ensure the V3 Liner delivers all-day comfort, it features The North Face’s FlashDry fabric technology. This is engineered to act like a second skin, pushing moisture to the surface and eliminating it as fast as possible, repeling and resisting wetting out to help provide quick-drying performance that keeps the user dry and comfortable.

X-Cage

This heel lock component offers an asymmetrical, anatomical shape that fills the space around your ankle bones with a soft durometer EVA foam. Available on the V2 UltraCush Smartwool and V3 UltraCush FlashDry liners, the X-Cage is designed to keep your foot securely in the heel pocket and in constant contact with your snowboard.

Instep Flex Zone

The Instep Flex Zone functions to maintain natural ankle flexion in your boot, whether in or out of your bindings.

V3 Harness

This advanced support harness delivers our highest level of support to the ankle and instep, keeping the V3 liner and boot

shell locked in and connected.

Powercuff

Power is the operative word with the PowerCuff Strap. It provides extra support at the top of the boot for increased

stability and response. Its configuration gives riders customisable levels of engagement and the option of wrapping

the strap around the internal liner or the exterior tongue.

Pleasurecuff

The supple elasticity of the PleasureCuff delivers a cushioned, comfortable fit that keeps your calves supported.

Vans Flex Control System

The removable, high-rebound Hytrel® tongue stiffeners enable riders to custom-tune their boot flex. Keep both in for

maximum support, use just one for increased lateral or medial response, or take them both out for a softer-flexing boot.

As your boots soften up over time, add the tongue stiffeners back in to extend the life of your boots.

V3 UltimateWaffle Outsole

The UltimateWaffle represents Vans progressive thinking in outsole technology. Loaded with features, it is found only

Heat Retention 360

All Vans snowboard boots feature a newly improved thermal retention layer that provides a 360° wrap of the toe box and between the outsole and the liner. This essential layer keeps heat in and cold out, ensuring all-day warmth and comfort.

Waterproof Zipper Shroud

This feature is a durable and weatherproof fabric shield that protects the lower part of your boot from snow, ice, and moisture, ensuring easy access to your Boa closure no matter what the weather throws at you. It also features a metal D-ring for securely fastening your pant gaiters to lock out snow.
